Hi there, my fellow artistic souls!
2021 is coming to a close and I’m doing my 2022 Tarot spreads and mapping out my long-term goals, trying to be more concrete about plans and follow-through this coming year.
I’ve learned that to really achieve consistency—with a routine or even just with an organizational tool—I need to connect with it aesthetically.
One of my best self-care strategies is to use tools that bring beauty to the process.
For this calendar, I couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind for my studio wall, so I just decided to play around in Canva to make my own!
This design has a forest theme with mushrooms and herbs as well as some familiar creatures, including snails, wolves, bumblebees, and a tiny spider. I’ve also included a celestial moth graphic that outlines the moon cycles. I had so much fun making this! For each month, it lists the dates of the new moon, first quarter moon, full moon, and second quarter moon. It’s an easy reference to post on your studio wall, or fridge, or bulletin board, etc.
